The primary departure point for members who arrive by vehicle is the car park of the Westside Calgary Chinese Alliance Church located at 6600 Country Hills Boulevard NW. This is in the community of Citadel.

The bus normally departs at 8:00 AM but departure times may vary depending on the destination.

Crowfoot LRT Station:
A second pick up at Crowfoot LRT Station is made for the benefit of members travelling by Calgary Transit. The bus normally arrives at the bottom of the north ramp of the LRT Station at 8:10 AM and departs promptly at 8:15 AM.

Return Times:
Normal return time to Calgary is no later than 4:45 PM except for trips of longer distance when it can be up to 5:30 PM. Estimated return times are included in the Evite invitation for the outing.

Return Drop off:
The bus drops passengers first at the Crowfoot LRT Station and then proceeds to the Westside Calgary Chinese Alliance Church.

Equipment:
The bus has spacious storage compartments for backpacks, poles, skis and snowshoes.

Tom ThompsonVehicle parking

The parking lot is available for the Club’s use without charge courtesy of the Westside Calgary Chinese Alliance Church. Club members are requested to respect the relationship that exists between the Church and the Club.  A large area of the lot is reserved for Church parking. Members are expected to familiarize themselves with the parking plan and must park responsibly and only in areas allocated to the Club. Failure to comply will result in the Bus Co-ordinator asking you to move your vehicle before the bus departs.

Each vehicle must display the Club’s Red Parking Card on the dash while parked in designated parking areas.

Parking lot map

A map of the parking lot and designated Club parking areas can be found in the Bus Book supplied by the Outings Co-ordinator on each bus outing. You can also view and/or print it from the webfile linked here.
